 Raymond R. Pierce, M.S.P.T., Clinic Owner and Director
Ray lives in Knoxville and is married to wife, Donna. He has been married for 26 years and has 3 boys. Michael, the oldest, is 1st Lieutenant in the US Army with the 173 Air Borne Brigade and stationed in Vicenza, Italy. Michael is currently serving with the army in Afghanistan. Joey is a biochemist and married to wife, Stephanie and living in Plano, Texas. John is a 9th grader at Knoxville Catholic High School. He enjoys playing soccer and wrestling for Knoxville Catholic High School.
Ray has a B.S. in physical education from the Citadel, a M.S. in exercise physiology from the University of Tennessee, and a B.S. in physical therapy from New York University. He has 25+ years experience in the medical field. He is affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Physical Therapy Provider Network (PTPN), PTPN Quality Assurance Committee, US Rowing Association, Oak Ridge Rowing Association, Oak Ridge Sportsman Association, US Rowing Sports Medicine and Research Society and Oak Ridge Sunset Rotary. He enjoys water sports and slalom skiing, swimming, scuba diving and rowing. He loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, and bicycling. He is also involved with various types of fitness activities. Ray enjoys spending quality time with his family. He loves helping patients reach their full potential. Patients benefit from his years of experience and knowledge of fitness and exercise.
 
 
 
Elaine M. Culbert, P.T.
Elaine Culbert received her B.S. in physical therapy from Georgia State University in 1987. She has 20 years of experience in the field encompassing acute care, inpatient and outpatient neuro, orthopedics, prosthetics, extended care and home health. Elaine is a 1982 graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage. She developed the outpatient neurological physical therapy department for Johhnson City Medical Center and managed the program for 4 years. She worked for 5 years at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center/Patricia Neal Rehab Center in Knoxville, concentrating mostly on neurological disorders. She has been with Pierce Physical Therapy since 2003 and her current areas of interest are orthopedics, geriatrics, and balance disorders. Elaine is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. She lives in Oak Ridge and is married to husband Bill. They have 1 son. She is an artist and co-founder of the The Artists' Studio and Gallery in Oak Ridge.
